Fractional Laser HESTIA
At our practice, we use the CO2 Fractional Laser CO2 for its beneficial properties and over time, we have accumulated a lot of experience treating a variety of skin disorders.
Its benefits include the fact that we can target the affected skin areas with great precision, leaving nearby skin areas unaffected and thus we can treat the skin at the depth required in great confidence. C02 fractional laser light’s pulses penetrate the skin and cause cell evaporation only on the area targeted, activating immediately the skin’s healing process. Your new skin is healthier and firmer as collagen and hyaluronic acid production improves and elastogenesis is promoted (production of elastin).
In two months, you will be still noticing the rejuvenating effect.
Fractional Laser CO2 for acne scars
We suggest Fractional Laser CO2 treatments to reduce and eliminate acne scars. Each session lasts for about 45 to 60 minutes and a full treatment plan includes repetitive sessions every 4 weeks.
We apply anaesthetic cream (in some cases when required) and we advise using sun protection cream right after the first treatment.
Acne scars are usually deep and consequently we work at deeper skin layers. Your treated skin area would be red right after the procedure and mildly swollen for 3 to 4 days. A very fine crust will also be developed but will peel off around 10 days.
We are sure that you understand that the duration of the healing process differs from person to person. Overall, you can return to your normal public activities in 1 to 2 days!
Fractional Laser CO2 against aging and sun damage
Our skin ages as time passes by, in a process determined by lifestyle and genetical predisposition. We cannot reverse natural aging. Photoaging however, is caused by exposing ourselves to UV radiation (both UVA and UVB) and can be prevented.
You may already know the signs of photoaging: dull skin, fine lines around the mouth, around the eyes and between the eyebrows, even wide pores that branch out over the nose and cheek area.
If you have already decided to receive a CO2 Fractional laser treatment and you are wondering about the number of sessions needed, we could only advise that this number depends on each case and priorities but generally, 3 sessions offer a quite visible and satisfactory result.
